At our cellar in Rabós d’Empordà, we invite you to experience winemaking as it truly is; unfiltered, evolving, and deeply connected to the land. Each visit is guided by one of the winemakers of Vinyes Tortuga. We offer a personal perspective shaped by the season and the wines themselves.
Offline, behind-the-scenes
This is not a standard tasting. It is an immersion into the process.
You will move through the cellar, exploring wines at different stages of their evolution; from fermenting juice (in season) to wines resting in tank or barrel, to those already bottled.
Along the way, you will:
Taste wines directly from tank or barrel
Compare raw, unbottled expressions with their finished form
Walk the vineyards and understand the soils, climate, and decisions behind each wine
Each visit reflects the moment, no two experiences are ever the same.
A personal approach. We keep our visits intentionally small and unhurried.
This allows space for conversation, curiosity, and a deeper connection to the wines.
Expect something honest, relaxed, and quietly detailed.

This is a private-style experience with a minimum booking equivalent to 4 guests.
You are very welcome to come alone or as a smaller group, however, the minimum rate for 4 people applies. You can book multiple guests in one reservation.
For groups of more than 10 people, please contact us directly by email to arrange a tailored visit.
Availability is limited.
We recommend booking in advance to ensure a place.

If you decide to become a member of the Tortuga Wine Club the tour will be for free! To be arranged at the cellar directly.
