Our vines

Our vines between mountains and sea

Nestled in the rugged beauty of Catalunya, our vineyards thrive in the wild landscapes of the Alt-Empordà. Between the windswept Costa Brava and the towering Pyrenees, Rabós is a hidden gem, rich in history and winemaking tradition. The Albera Natural Park surrounds us, its diverse flora and fauna shaping the environment where our vines grow deep into the rocky soils.

The Mediterranean climate, with its cooling Tramuntana winds, brings freshness and balance to our grapes, allowing us to harvest early for bright acidity. Our vineyards, cultivated without chemicals or intervention, reflect the raw, untamed spirit of this land. Each vine tells a story of resilience, each bottle a reflection of the unique terroir.

Here, amidst ancient olive trees and centuries-old winemaking traditions, we craft wines that embody the energy of Catalunya: wild, free and full of life.

Roots in Rabós:
Our Vineyard, Workspace,
and Restaurant

At the heart of it all is our bodega, located in the medieval town of Rabós. The old cooperative building, with its iconic cement tanks, has been revived to house our winemaking process. Inside, we have created a space that is now Analogic Restaurant run by the talented Chef Borja Tomas Munells since 2023. Chef Borja brings his passion for locally sourced ingredients and innovative cuisine, perfectly complementing our natural wines. Just a stone's throw away, our home in Rabós lets us live in the heart of the land we love, making this place not just a vineyard, but a living, breathing part of who we are.

The Vineyards of Vinyes Tortuga

Our vineyard plots in the Alt-Empordà are as diverse as the land itself. Each plot tells its own story. Some are perched on rocky hillsides, where the vines dig deep into mineral-rich soil, producing wines with a bold, earthy character. Others are closer to the coast, benefiting from the fresh sea breeze, which imparts a lively acidity.

With varied exposures to the sun, different altitudes, and microclimates, each plot gives us unique fruit, allowing us to craft wines that reflect the diversity and vibrancy of the region.

The middle bottle is dark, the one on the left is clear and amber-colored, and the right bottle is dark. A green plant partially obscures the scene, with a tag showing a price of €12 attached to the plant.
